Sand dunes and sandy beaches warmed by the sun,
a kingdom of sand formed by waves, wind and plants.
This is the soul of Southern Halland; further north there are coastal meadows
where redshanks play and shelducks laugh.
Further to the north the rocky beaches appear, reflecting
the start of Bohuslän’s archipelago coast.
